I don’t think I am a great singer… may be that’s why they have a playback singer for every film of mine.

But if a situation comes which requires that (singing) from an actor, I’ll do it. Though nothing of that sort seems to be coming as of now,” Shahid told IANS. But at the same time he feels the industry is full of talented singers.“There are so many people who can sing better than me, so why to spoil a song

Salman Khan’s next movie Ready is not quite ready to take off until the hero is comfortable with his character. For now, the film is through drastic screenplay alteration. However, 44-year-old Salman Khan would have none of that – he asked director Anees Bazmee to make changes to suit his age and image. With shooting scheduled to start from June 15, Anees, who was busy shooting Thank You, had very little time to accommodate Salman Khan’s demands.

But Salman Khan had made it clear he wouldn’t shoot until the changes were made. In fact, Salman Khan’s confusion about not playing his age has been growing over the years. In Tere Naam, the remake of the Tamil blockbuster Sethu, Salman Khan’s role of a college student had to be justified by showing that he was an old student hanging out on the campus just to be with his friends. But now Salman Khan would rather play a character nearer his own age.

Anees Bazmee admitted he had to rewrite the original Telugu film. “We’ve changed the Hindi version of Ready drastically, and for the better. The hero in the Telugu film was 19 and a college student. Salman wasn’t comfortable playing that young a character. He will now play a guy who manages his father’s business. Salman  Khan can’t play a college student any longer and he’s sensible enough to admit it

Post the humongous success of ‘Jab We Met’, Shahid and Kareena parted ways, never to meet again. Shahid and Kareena are all set to share the silver screen once again in Boney Kapoor’s long delayed flick ‘Milenge Milenge.’ Talking to a news daily on ‘Milenge Milenge’, probably his last film with Kareena, Shahid Kapoor said “It’s a love story that will resonate.’’

Even Kareena is quite happy to complete the movie as she says, “I’m happy my work on the movie is complete. We still are some time away from the Oscars, but, India is surely making its presence felt at the Oscar library already, as most of the films that were released recently, have found their way to the Oscar library! The last few weeks had seen the likes of the scripts of Rock On, Sarkar Raj, Heroes being invited to be a part of this prestigious library.
The latest one to join the gang is the Shahid-Vidya starrer smash hit film Kismat Konnection. Apparently, the Library of Motion Pictures of Arts and Sciences (which is better known as the Oscars library) had expressed interest in acquiring a copy of the screenplay of Kismat Konnection for the permanent core collection. The scripts in their collection are made accessible for research purposes only; students, filmmakers, writers and actors are among their regular patrons.
On this happy occasion, Ramesh Taurani, owner of TIPS, said, “I am very pleased with the inclusion of the screenplay of Kismat Konnection to the Oscar Library. TIPS Films has always endeavored to give the audiences great stories backed with great entertainment value. It’s always a pleasure to be recognized for your craft by one of the most respectable film bodies of our times.”
